Reef Perfumes — an unusual guarantee for a perfume shop
Reef is a Saudi perfume brand (commercial registration 7003381907) selling men's, women's, unisex and niche perfumes, body and hair perfumes, home diffusers and diffuser oils, and its own Reef Beauty cosmetics. What sets it apart is not the range but one clause in its returns policy.
The golden guarantee: 30 days, however much of the bottle you used
Reef's policy says the golden guarantee covers 30 days from receiving the order, regardless of how much of the product has been used. In practice you can buy a scent you have never smelled and send it back if it does not work on you, under the conditions below.
The conditions — read them before you rely on it
- A 25 SAR return fee is deducted from the refund. The policy states it in Saudi riyals.
- The original perfume box is required. The bottle alone is not accepted.
- Cosmetics are excluded from both return and exchange unless they have a manufacturing defect, so the guarantee does not cover Reef Beauty.
- Offers containing more than one perfume cannot be returned in part — the whole set goes back or none of it does.
- Online purchases cannot be returned at Reef's branches.
- Cash on delivery is a paid service, and its fee is deducted if you return the order after receiving it.
- Refunds take 7–21 working days and go back to the original payment method.
- Orders from outside Saudi Arabia and the Gulf cannot be returned, and Reef may refuse a guarantee claim it judges to be misuse or repeated.
Check the currency on your screen
The storefront we were served on 4 October 2026 priced everything in AED, with free shipping above AED 349, while the returns policy is written in Saudi riyals. Before you compare a price or count toward the free-shipping threshold, read the currency on the screen, not just the number — 349 dirhams and 349 riyals are different decisions.
Who it suits
Anyone who wants to try a perfume they have never smelled: a 30-day guarantee that still applies after you have used the bottle makes that purchase reversible. It also suits a single-perfume purchase where you keep the box until you have decided.
When it isn't worth it
- If you are buying Reef Beauty cosmetics. They are outside the golden guarantee entirely — no return or exchange unless faulty — so the 30-day guarantee does not apply to what you are buying.
- If you throw boxes away as soon as you buy. Without the original perfume box the return is refused, and the guarantee is worth nothing to you.
- If you are buying a multi-perfume set because it is cheaper. There is no partial return: if you dislike one perfume, you return all of them or keep all of them.
- If your order only just clears the free-shipping threshold. The 25 SAR return fee can swallow what you saved on shipping if you change your mind.
