Free Shipping Thresholds at Saudi Stores: The Figures

A code saves a percentage of your basket. Delivery adds a fixed amount on top. That is why a small order can lose more than it saves: 10% off a SAR 80 basket saves SAR 8, and a SAR 25 delivery fee eats that three times over.

And the free-shipping threshold is not one number across the market. We collected what each store states on its own page, and found that it does not hold still either: one store we read at SAR 50 in August 2026 and at SAR 150 in October, and another whose FAQ says SAR 999 shipped a basket free with no minimum at all.

The table: what each store states

Every row below is read from the store's own page, with its link and the date we read it. Policies change, so the date is part of the information, not decoration.

How to read this table

The number alone is not enough. Three things change what it means:

• Compare the threshold with your usual order, not in the abstract. A SAR 999 threshold is not "bad" if you are buying a single fashion item that costs more than that anyway; and a SAR 50 threshold is not "good" if you are buying one item for SAR 10.
• The threshold may or may not include VAT. One store here states plainly that its threshold "includes VAT" — the others do not say. The difference is 15% of the figure.
• Free shipping can exclude categories. The kitchenware and appliance store excludes "large home appliances" from its offer — exactly what someone hunting a big discount has in mind.

Thresholds in a banner, not on a policy page

Qasr Alawani, Doctor Nutrition and Alokozay announce their shipping offer in a strip at the top of the home page, not on their shipping page. The difference matters to you: the offers strip changes with campaigns, while a policy page stays put and you can go back to it. So the threshold can rise, fall or disappear without a word changing on any page you could cite.

That is exactly what happened between two readings: Doctor Nutrition's banner asked for SAR 299 in August 2026, and in October its storefront no longer asked for a minimum. So the figures in the table above are correct on the day they were read, and the safest course is to open the store's home page and read the banner yourself before you build your basket around the threshold.

And Doctor Nutrition has a second restriction: its shipping page calls this "a limited-time offer" with exceptions — an excluded item shows no free-delivery label on its product page, and clearance products are excluded too. So "no minimum" does not cover every item, and does not mean it will last.

What to do before you use the code

1. Open the store's page and read the threshold before you build the basket, not after.
2. Work it out: is topping the basket up to the threshold cheaper than the delivery fee? Sometimes yes — and sometimes you buy something you do not want, to save less than you spent.
3. Check whether your item is excluded from the offer — large appliances and clearance products are the most common exclusions.
4. And read the return window before you pay: a low threshold at a store that gives you 48 hours is not necessarily a better deal than a high one at a store that gives you thirty days.

Every figure on this page is taken from the store's own page on the date it was read. If you find one that has changed, the store changed it — and the table changes when we next read that page.

Two comparisons from the same source complete this page: return windows and cash-on-delivery fees. And if you have a discount code, the steps for entering it are in our guide to using a discount code at checkout.
